During my time at San Diego State University, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies, and completed a minor degree in Leadership Development. For the past several years, I have been working in the industry as a Creative Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, and Copywriter in the Los Angeles Area.
As a skilled media professional, I understand what it takes to meet the needs of various audiences, complete work by deadline, and communicate in large group settings to achieve a common goal. I also have exceptional creative and analytical thinking skills. With years of experience as the leader of executive operations, as well as a director, copywriter, publicist, and social media facilitator in broadcast newsrooms and marketing agencies, I am eager to expand my professional career with your company. I know that this position is an excellent match to my interests and qualifications.
In regard to educational and professional work experience, I have continued to enhance my abilities in the fields of TV & Media, Marketing, and Communications.
- Marketing Director/Editor/Writer for various platforms such as real estate, radio, television, magazines, newspapers, and online websites. I have experience within broadcast television news, radio stations, and real estate groups. Most recently, I worked as a marketing director for a luxury real estate group in Los Angeles. I have also written newsletters, press releases, blogs, promotional ads, and other stylistic pieces for several clients.
- Content Creator for marketing agencies, broadcast newsrooms, and online media publications. I would create dynamic ads, graphics, scripts, and other written work. I have experience with video, audio and photo editing, as well as graphic design. Years of experience writing press releases and creating effective social media campaigns.
- Executive Assistant for Tony’s Dental Lab in the Los Angeles area. While performing clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and calendar management, I worked directly with clients and other dental partners. Most importantly, I can assist wherever needed and adapt in ever-changing work environments.
