Beginning the Process

While approaching my story idea, I realized that there are many local restaurants that I have not tried. This past weekend, I ate a fantastic dish at Anthem Vegan, 7 miles from SDSU campus. I want to use this restaurant as one of my sources because of their unique and diverse menu options. The customer service was friendly and helpful. I want to get more information about how this restaurant impacts the community, and what the customers think about the plant-based diet offered.

For the multimedia aspects of my project, I want to film some live-action footage, such as servers bringing out food to the tables, the cooks in the kitchen, or how packed the parking lot is on a Friday night. I think it would be good to know where they get their produce and how they make their own original products such as their chipotle aioli.
